Basis of Faith

We believe in:

The sovereignty of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in creation, providence, redemption and the final Judgement.

The full inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, their authority and sufficiency as not only containing but being in themselves the word of God.

The Doctrine of Original Sin, human depravity and mans restoration is procured by the atonement of Christ through the shedding of his blood.

The true and proper deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, his virgin birth, his real and perfect manhood, his work of atonement for all sinners, his bodily resurrection, his ascension into Heaven and his present intercession for his people at the right hand of the Father and his promise to return in power and glory.

The justification of the sinner solely by faith in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The Ordinance of believers' baptism and the Lord's supper as being instituted by the Lord Jesus himself. 

The resurrection of the body, the judgement of the world and the eternal blessedness of the righteous.

The illuminating, regenerating in dwelling and sanctifying work of God through the Holy Spirit.
